Black Pepper Essential Oil

Black Pepper (Piper nigrum) (organic)

Origin: Madagascar

Scent: Fresh, dry woody warm and spicy

Brief info : Have been used in the East for 4000 years for medicinal and culinary purposes. The mendicant monks of India who cover daily considerable distance on foot, swallow 7-9 grains of pepper a day and this gave them remarkable endurance. 

Blend well with:  citrus or floral oils, ginger, frankincense, lemongrass, sandalwood 

Use: Drop around 8-10 drops in 100ml water diffuser (best to drop with other oils). 

Add 3-5 drops in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (coconut/almond/sunflower) to apply topically to help with smooth circulation or as a relief.

Aromatherapy benefits : Contains warm effect properties and smooth  circulation.  For the relaxing warm sensation effects, relieve pain.

Therapeutic properties:  antiseptic, antimicrobial, analgesic, aphrodisiac and stimulant.

Caution: The oxidised oil can cause skin irritation. Always close tightly, keep the bottle away from children. Not for internal use.
